I gave this a 4 for two reasons. First and foremost, it is NOT a rifle scope, it is a monocular. Second it is suppose to have 4x magnification but we can't seem to get it to work or maybe there really isn't a magnification for it. With that said, it is reallllllly cool. I can see well into my back yard which is 1/4 mile deep. It is easy to use, the visions are not blurry and easy to follow my dog around the yard!
